Overview
The Church of God Bible Training Institute is one of the many ministries of the church. It is focused on training people on the foundations of the Word of God. It is dedicated to training Christian men and women for the Lord’s service. Aside from doctrinal training, it also involves aspects of business, polity and procedure.
The Bible Training Institute has helped equipped church workers as they go and advance the church’s ministry. The first Bible camp was held in the summer of 1941. It used to be called Bible training program before it became Bible Training Institute.
Bible Training Institute Courses
The Church of God Bible Training Institute curriculum is a three-year program divided into four terms of study. Students who complete the study program will receive a diploma certifying their graduation.
First Term Course Study
The first term course study centers on the Bible and its teachings. It also includes an introduction of church polity and basic pastoral obligations.

Second Term Course Study
The second term course study of the Bible Training Institute is a continuation of the courses offered during the first term. The highlight of the second term course is the inclusion of the New Testament study on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

Third Term Course Study
The third term course study completes the educational path that was established during the first and second term course study. The term also concludes the study on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It also provides an introduction on the Kingdom of God and the Church of God.

The Church of God Bible Training Institute also offers Leadership and Pastoral Development course to licensed ministry and leaders within the church.
Also available are correspondence courses for individual and group study. The correspondence courses are not taken in a regular class set-up but the students are encouraged to have proper study period before answering the lesson’s test questions. Upon completing the test, the student will then submit the completed tests to the General headquarters for grading. The required passing grade in order to get a certificate is 75.
