God has commanded His church to preach the gospel throughout the world. The Church of God ministries were put up or established in order to fulfill this commission.
The Church of God Ministries includes the following:
Assembly Band Movement
One of the five auxiliaries in the church, this ministry is the church’s department of pastoral care. The main objective of the ministry is to make sure that the members of the Church of God are properly cared for.
Bible Training Institute
The ministry of the Bible Training Institute of The Church of God is centered on teaching people in the foundations of the Word of God. Aside from doctrinal training, this ministry also includes aspects of polity, business and procedure.
Church of Prophecy Marker Association
This particular ministry reminds people of Christ’s church- doctrine, purpose, nature, function and distinguishing marks.
Evangelism Department
The purpose of evangelism is to spread the Word of God for people to believe the message of the cross.
Media Department
The Media Department’s primary goal is to communicate and share information through media transmission – whether written publication or electronic media.
Outreach Literature
This ministry of the Church of God is centered on spreading the Gospel through the written Word. The ministry has been producing tracts containing the Word of God with emphasis on evangelism.
Print Shop Ministry
The Print Shop Ministry is responsible for producing materials that will further help spread the message of Christ and His church. Most of the published materials include outreach literature tracts, Sunday school literature and lesson materials for Bible Training Institute.
Sunday School
Sunday school at the Church of God serves as teaching department of the church. Its purpose is to teach to win and to teach to develop. Teaching to win simply means teaching to convert and have individuals come to Christ for forgiveness of sins and repentance. Teaching to develop entails leading believers to a richer spiritual life.
Victory Leaders Band
This ministry is focused on the needs of the youth today.
Woman’s Missionary Band
The Woman’s Missionary Band is a ministry of the Church of God responsible in raising funds for missionary works around the globe. They also pray for all the workers and missionaries.
World Missions Department
The World Missions Department oversees all the missions and evangelism that are being carried out throughout the world.
Preaching Ministry
Making known the Word of God. The Church of God has the following licensed rank of preaching ministry: Evangelist, Female Evangelist, Deacon and Bishop. The Church of God also acknowledges Lay Minister and Trial Deacon as certified ranks of preaching ministry.
Teaching Ministry
The Teaching Ministry is important in the overall ministry of the church since it helps bring the church to perfection. The Church of God acknowledges the Certified Teacher as a biblical rank of teaching ministry.
The Church of God Ministries enables the people to develop a deeper knowledge and understanding of Christ.
